From East Asheville Interstate 240 East

From Interstate 240 East, exit onto Highway 74A East at Exit #9 (Bat Cave). Go 22 miles and The Lake Lure Marina will be on the left. Just a short drive farther, and you'll see the beach on the left.

From East Asheville Interstate 40

From Interstate 40, exit onto Highway 74A East at Exit #53A. Stay on 74A East for 22 miles.

From West Asheville

Take Interstate 26 East toward Hendersonville. Get onto Highway 64 East at Exit #18A. Go approximately 12 miles to the stop sign in Bat Cave. Turn right onto Highway 64/74A East. Go approximately 4 miles to Lake Lure.

From Hendersonville

Take Highway 64 East to the stop sign in Bat Cave. Turn right onto Highway 64/74A East. Go approximately 4 miles to Lake Lure.

From Black Mountain and Interstate 40

Take Highway 9 South to the stop sign in Bat Cave. Turn left onto Highway 74A East. Go approximately 4 miles to Lake Lure.

From Charlotte

Take Interstate 85 South to Exit 10B and Highway 74 West. Follow 74 West to Exit 167. Turn right onto Highway 9 North and go 12 miles to the stop sign at the junction of Highway 64/74A. Lake Lure will be directly in front of you. Turn left onto Highway 64/74A West and go 3 miles. The Lake Lure Beach will be on the right, and Lake Lure Tours and the Marina are just a short drive farther on the right.

From the South Carolina Interstate 26 Corridor

Take I-26 West toward North Carolina. Get off at Exit 36 in Columbus, NC (the first exit in North Carolina). Turn right onto Highway 108 East, and proceed 4.7 miles to Highway 9 North. Turn left and go 9 miles until you reach the stop sign at the junction of Highway 64/74A. Lake Lure will be directly in front of you. Turn left onto Highway 64/74A West and go 3 miles. The Lake Lure Beach will be on the right, and the Marina and Lake Lure Tours are just a short drive farther on the right.

From Greenville, SC

Take Highway 25 North (White Horse Road) into North Carolina. Follow signs to Interstate 26 West and Asheville. Get on I-26 West. At Exit 18A, get off and onto Highway 64 East. Follow 64 East to the stop sign in Bat Cave. Turn right onto Highway 64/74A East. Go east on Highway 64/74A for 4 miles to Lake Lure.

From Atlanta

Take I-85 North to Interstate 185 North (Exit 42) in the Greenville, SC area. Get on I-185 North and exit at Exit 15, Highway 25, White Horse Road. Turn left onto Highway 25 North and follow it into North Carolina. Once in North Carolina, follow signs to Interstate 26 West and Asheville (do not take Exit 5 for Highway 25). Get on I-26 West. At Exit 18A, exit onto Highway 64 East. Follow 64 East to the stop sign in Bat Cave. Turn right onto Highway 64/74A East. Go east on Highway 64/74A for 4 miles to Lake Lure.

From Hickory, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh

From Interstate 40, take exit 103 in Morganton. Follow Route 64 West approximately 32 miles to Rutherfordton where 64 joins up with Highway 74A West. Continue on Highway 64/74A West approximately 20 miles to Lake Lure. The Lake Lure Beach will be on the right, and Lake Lure Tours and the Marina are just a short drive farther, also on the right.
